Mexico actually has a lot of vegetarian options which a lot of us know and love.

In this episode I make a lot of yummy stuff-  Agua de Fresa (Mexican Strawberry Water), Guacamole, Corn and Black bean salsa, 4 layer dip with the Guacamole and Salsa, Mexican Street Corn, Cheese Enchilada with Mole sauce and to top it off- Churro's with a Chocolate Dipping sauce!

Veg Around the World : Russia

The show this week is Veg Around the World : Russia

When one thinks of Russian food - it brings to mind meat and potatoes- though the potatoes are often the form of Vodka! Well actually a lot of people could not afford meat in Russia, so the vegetarian cuisine is quite developed!

In this Show I make Borscht (a Russian Soup with Beets), Pirozhki (Cabbage stuffed bread Rolls), Russian Mushrooms with Potatoes ( Mushrooms are BIG in Russia) and  Baked Apple with Walnuts and Raisins.

As there is nothing for me to make in Vodka I make a Russian Fruit tea that can be had hot or cold.
